OUR HISTORY
Kamgang Steven Initiatives was the first enterprise launched by the founder of Fishboard Willy Steven Kamgang. This was a tutoring company to help secondary school and post secondary school students improve their understanding of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. KSI also provided preparatory courses for FMBS and Engineering schools in Cameroon.
Due to the lack of statisticians specialized in treating health-care data, the founder of KS Initiatives saw the need to train Medical Doctors on how to design and implement quantitative research protocols in the fields of Health Sciences. This led to the creation of Ronald Fischer's dashboard, "Fishboard" for short.
The creation of the language center prompted by post graduates admissions requirements pertaining to language proficiency. Due to the Fishboard initiative, most Medical Doctors practioners desiring to persue their education opted for the UK and USA where the IELTS and TOEFL language tests are required for admissions in Master's and PhD programs. To facilitate admission processes into these programs, Fishboard created a language center which was initialy specialized in IELTS and TOEFL preparation.
This is our first partnership agreement. On one side, Fishboard was granted access to all necessary infrastructural and technical facilities and on the other hand, Fishboard was charged with the mission to enhance e-learning with distance learning at AZIMUT University Institute. Through this partnership, Fishboard was able to obtain official accreditation for its profesional training center.
